Workshop of Indigo Dyeing at the Science Museum “Snow Flake Patterned Handkerchief”
In this workshop we make snow flake pattern to a handkerchief by indigo dyeing.
- Date: June 7 (Sunday), June 28 (Sunday), 2026
- Time: (1) 10:00 ~, (2) 13:00 ~ (about 50 minutes for each)
- Place: Kawasaki Municipal Science Museum (Study Room)
- Everyone can participate (elementary schooler or younger children must be accompanied by 1 guardian)
- Fee: 1,320 Yen (handkerchief and rubber gloves included)
- Capacity: 10 participants for each time slot. Reservation required.

- The indigo liquid may splash onto your clothes or shoes and stain them. Please wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting stained.
Annual Event Exhibition “Manga-Arai”
Farm tools such as “manga” (harrow) are washed and displayed to celebrate the finishing of rice-planting.
